The red, phallic spire thing is the language sign for the Redlanders.

The four-pointed star is the sign for Sky View.

Not super significant in this page, but I want to be consistent. Craymin doesn't speak the language of Sky View and Leers doesn't speak Redlander.

These four languages will be all we have for a while at least!

So... It seems remiss to update today without mentioning Terry Pratchett.

I've been thinking about his books all day and why I love them so much and here's the best I can come up with:

I think Sir Pratchett was actually a very wise man about human nature and he had an even more rare skill of packaging that wisdom in silliness to make it go down smoother.

His books had wisdom pills in them, coated with a silly jam.

I hope Death was there to meet him.

Is that honey? Are there ants in the offing?

One of the brightest lights in our sky has gone dim. It is not completely dark, for his legacy is still with us, but he, himself, will be missed.

I feel like re-reading The Color of Magic and aiming to make it through the whole Discworld set. And yes, it's honey. As for what comes next...

Heheheheheheh...

One thing. Let us not mourn Sir Terry Pratchett's death. He wouldn't want that. Let us instead celebrate his life! :)

RIP Terry Pratchett. I just ordered his and Neil Gaiman's "Good Omens" from my online book-trading website about a week ago, when it randomly popped up as available. Odd timing. It'll be my first foray into his writings, though I've been meaning to read him for a while.

Oh, those scampish Redlander soldiers. Tsk, tsk...

I don't know if anyone guessed, but it's actually the same crew from the thing with the goat and the squirrel.

You'd think they'd be able to find a more productive use for their time. But apparently not!
